Cedarhurst of Wichita
The design for Cedarhurst of Wichita was modified from Dover Development’s new prototype design we did in Topeka, KS. In this way, we can meet the needs of the community while fitting the building on the site. This allowed the community to offer more assisted living and memory care units due to the large size of the site.
The community will house 60 assisted living units and 27 memory care units. The building focuses on gathering people together and creating a sense of community throughout the facility. The building will feature multiple dining options, a movie theater, and a meandering path through the central courtyard. The design provides residents with ample sunlight and a patio off each assisted living unit.
