Cedarhurst of Salina
The design for Cedarhurst of Salina was modified from Dover Development’s new prototype design we did in Topeka, KS. In this way, we can meet the needs of the community while fitting the building on the site. For this building to fit on the site, it ended up being slightly smaller than the prototype design.
The community houses 54 assisted living units and 22 memory care units. The building focuses on gathering people together and creating a sense of community throughout the facility. The building features multiple dining options, a movie theater, and a large central courtyard with a meandering path throughout. The design provides residents with ample sunlight and a patio off each assisted living unit.
