Meet Lindsay Straatmann

Associate Principal, Lindsay Straatmann, has been actively managing several exciting projects here at Vessel. For Cedarhurst of Wentzville, she's overseeing construction administration and is hopeful to begin the punch process soon, aiming for a spring 2025 opening. At another senior living project, construction is just underway, with preparations in place for the first slab pour this week. For New Community Church, Lindsay is coordinating a phase one renovation plan to have them moved into their new building by the start of the new year, which includes updating finishes and reconfiguring the layout. Additionally, she’s guiding the Plaza Shops Fountain project through the Planning and Zoning process, paving the way for fountain removal and the installation of new landscape features.

Outside of the office, Lindsay has been growing her cottage bakery, Tailgate Treats STL, where she specializes in unique treats like brookie cakes, traditional cakes, macarons, and more. She loves making special moments even sweeter for her clients and finds joy in the quick creative process baking offers, contrasting the longer timelines in architecture and design. Beyond the bakery, she’s diving back into running having completed her second marathon this spring and joining the Go St. Louis board to help raise awareness for their impactful community work and races. Lindsay is also expanding her industry involvement with CREW St. Louis, serving on the ambassador committee, co-chairing the architecture circle, and helping launch their first virtual vendor holiday fair.
