Meet Dorcas Hakiza
Dorcas is one of our newer employees, having been here for seven months now! She has been an incredible asset to the team and certainly learning a lot. Since starting, she’s primarily been working on the Encino team, allowing her the opportunity to foster professional development through engagement on this large, modern senior living community in LA. She’s able to engage with colleagues, ask questions, and contribute to a flourishing community for our seniors while developing her skills as an emerging architect. She is also currently helping out on one of our residential projects.

When she’s not in the office, Dorcas has been focusing on self-improvement by working out and following a dedicated skincare routine. She has also been enjoying making nutritious meals and trying out new recipes! She is in the process of learning Korean, utilizing an app, before diving into face to face lessons next year. Another hobby she enjoys is perfecting the art of watercolor painting!
Dorcas, unsurprisingly, also enjoys taking pictures of architectural details. Through her travels, she did a series on “the entry experience “ by taking pictures of doors to capture those elements, while also having fun!
