Gingerbread Creation 2023
Every year, our team embarks on a unique holiday tradition: transforming one of our architectural projects into a gingerbread creation. This year, we chose First Capital Place, a current multifamily project that will be in St. Charles, MO. The process began with meticulous planning, baking gingerbread pieces at a 1/8 inch scale of the original plans and crafting the topography of the site out of foam core. Next came assembling these baked components with melted sugar and royal icing. The final touches, including pretzel windows, candy cane lamp posts, and fondant snowmen and trees, brought our creation to life, showcasing not just our architectural skills but our team's creativity and holiday spirit. This was a creative collaboration at its finest.
