Spotlight on Pete Schwartz and Brian Van Winkle

Happy Bosses Day to our fearless leaders. . On May 4, 2004 Pete Schwartz and Brian Van Winkle took a leap of faith and started Vessel in Pete’s living room. For the past 16 years, Pete and Brian have been leading us through various architectural projects, large and small. Along the way we’ve had a lot of fun, some real challenges (think “The Great Recession of 2008” and the Covid-19 situation), and worked diligently to create livable, beautiful designs for our wonderful clients.

Pete was born and raised in the St. Louis area and Brian came to us by way of Springfield, MO. Both are graduates of KU’s architecture program.

Thanks guys for making Vessel such an awesome place to work. Looking forward to many more projects!
